Newcastle Perinatal Place provides Assessment and Treatment services to people who self-refer, or are referred by their doctor. 

Medicare Rebates

We are registered with Medicare and rebates are available for clients with a valid referral from a GP or Psychiatrist. We are also a Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling Medicare Provider.

Please note that couples sessions are not eligible for a rebate under Medicare.

Private Health Insurance

A referral is not required if you wish to pay privately or claim through your private health fund. We recommend that you check with your insurer about rebates that may be available. A receipt will be provided at the time of payment for you to claim your rebate with your health fund.

Payment Methods

Payments are processed automatically at the end of consultations using stored credit card details.
